MADRID, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Queen Letizia of Spain presented the prestigious International Friendship Awards to four Chinese businessmen at the campus of the IESE Business School in Madrid on Monday.
The winners were Eric X. Li, president of Chengwei Capital, Lin Liangqi, president of Akso Nobel China, Sun Yafang, president of Huawei, and Celina Chew, president of Bayer Greater China Group.
The four winners of the 2018 award were selected for their work in promoting investment and job creation in China and abroad by a jury made up of important personalities from the world of business and academia.
"The world should be grateful to these business people who from China have led the internationalization of that country through their companies,"said Pedro Nueno, jury member and professor.
"The ceremony that we are holding today is both recognition and thanks for the important work they have carried out," he added.
